Smoked Pig Bites

Irresistibly smoky and flavorful, these smoked pig bites are a perfect appetizer for any gathering. The marinade infuses the pork belly with a sweet and savory taste, while the slow smoking process adds a rich smokiness to each bite.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pork belly, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Wood chips for smoking

Instructions:

To make the marinade, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a bowl

Make sure the pork belly cubes are thoroughly coated by adding them to the marinade

For optimal effects, marinate in the fridge for at least two hours or overnight

Set your smoker's temperature to 225F 107C and add the wood chips to begin smoking

To ensure even smoking, space the marinated pork belly cubes apart on the smoker rack

The pig bites should be smoked for two to three hours, or until they are 165 degrees Fahrenheit 74 degrees Celsius inside

Before serving, take them out of the smoker and give them some time to rest

As an appetizer, serve the smoked pig bites with your preferred dipping sauce

Savor the smoky flavor of these mouthwatering pig nibbles!
